Clean Crop Technologies
Clean Crop Technologies is a western MA startup working to solve the crisis of aflatoxin infection in crops, which causes over 100,000 deaths and $1.7 billion of lost revenues each year, especially in developing countries. CCT approached Greentown Learn, after building a workable prototype, seeking manufacturers to build next gen prototypes and initiate low volume production. Throughout the process of connecting them with manufacturers, our team also helped them with their business pitch and investor readiness, to find R&D lab space that allowed them to remain in western MA, and identify prospective investors. As a result, CCT has submitted an RFP to several MA manufacturers, and has met with sophisticated investors, as well as become a 2019 MA Challenge Finalist. We look forward to supporting Clean Crop Tech as they look to make the leap to revenue in 2020 and begin ridding aflatoxin from the global food supply.
