Please join us on Oct 12 for this FREE journey to check out some of the best advanced manufacturing resources Western Massachusetts has to offer (and have a little fun while doing it). We will see - precision machining, extrusions, injection molding, 3D printing, packaging, vacuum forming & more!
The agenda for 10/12 is as follows:
9:00 am - Van leaves Greentown Labs in Somerville westbound for Peerless Precision Inc. (breakfast included on van)
11:00 am - arrive at Peerless where we will be given a tour by Kristin Carlson, President. She will explain the precision process and take Q&A.
12:05 pm - Leave Peerless and head to tour Toner Plastics in East Longmeadow, MA. Steve Graham, President of Toner will show us their plastic extruding operation and field Q&A. (lunch will be provided on the van)
1:40 pm - Leave Toner and head to Cartimundi in East Longmeadow for a tour. Cartimundihas capacity for injection molding, packaging, and vacuum forming projects. We will also be greeted by Speaker of the House Robert DeLeo who will also join us on the tour & you will have the opportunity to have a Q&A with him to talk about being a startup in MA.
3:30 pm - Leave Cartimundi and head to Iron Duke Brewery in Ludlow, MA. We will have pizza and beers before we head back to Greentown Labs. Hoping to be back in Somerville by 8:00 pm.
This is a FREE event for all Boston area hardware startups. Space is limited to seats on the van (12). If we get a good response we may consider renting a second van. I have also added 20 tickets for anyone that would like to take their own transportation.
To register: Tickets - Van to Greentown West
Hope to see you out here!
